Web 2.0 Tools and Making Money Online

February 9th, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

There are a lot of different social networking sites that people are using to make money. If you find the right site and establish yourself you can take advantage of this. How do you capitalize to maximize your investment of time so you achieve maximum results? Choose the right site and get the right results. Here are three helpful tips:

1. Choose the site with the right demographic. Use a site that matches your target audience’s usage. You might need to dabble and play with a few to find the right site but a bit of research will help you find the right social networking site.

2. Find the right people to network with. Twitter is useless unless
you have the right followers. MySpace only helps you if you interact with people. FaceBook is only good if you maximize it, etc.

3. Learn how to make money with each site.

Finding The Right Demographic

You might need to dabble and play with a few to find the right site but a bit of research will help you find the right site. There are sites that are targeted to music or movie lovers. There are sites that offer micro blogging that you can find a lot of people on. And there are sites that you can mine for information about users so that you find out if that site has people who are potential customers for you.

Find the Right People

If you’re selling memberships to a mp3 download site you want to be using a social networking site that has a lot of music lovers. There are a lot of them such as: Buzznet, Capazoo, imeem, Last.fm and others. If you are into books, look at sites like: Shelfari, LibraryThing and Anobil. Mine the site for that information so you know you’re in the right place but then target those people. Interact with people and you might make some sales. If you look like you’re trying to sell you might not sell but if you network in the right way people may visit your links and buy something from you.

Learn How To Make Money From Social Sites

How do you make money with social sites? Here are some examples. On a question and answer site like Yahoo Answers, answer questions and put your sales site as a reference. Do this when the question actually requires that type of answer and do provide value or you’ll be banned. On something like Twitter, add your URL to your site and look for people through a tool like Twitter Search to find people that talk about your subject. On FaceBook you can advertise and create a fan wall or group. On forums put your signature on all posts with links to your site and establish yourself as a helpful expert. On other tools like FriendFinder you can literally find online friends that you can utilize as clients or people who will help you promote your sites.

Social media continues to explode in terms of potential and volume. The web is all about interaction. Learn how to interact with people interested in what you’re selling and you can unleash social marketing tools to their full potential.

    Try Cashle at http://www.cashle.com/index.php?ref=trasauma
They are a great site that pays daily with the potential for instant payments. There is alot of money to be made there.

An easy way to make some money if you don’t have a website with a lot of traffic, a lot of money to invest, or a lot of time is linkbucks. You basically mask any links you post up with a linkbucks URL, which pays you money for the redirected traffic. It’s kind of like tinyurl.com but you get some money for doing it. If you’re interested check it out at:

This place is basically a classifieds board now.

Basically you have several options that you can get started on right away.

    1. Paid Surveys (they do exist, you just need to avoid the scams)
    2. Get Paid to Complete Free Offers (same as above)
    3. Writing for Content Companies (my personal favorite – associatedcontent)
    4. Freelance Bidding Sites (you can find some great jobs with sites like getafreelancer.com, etc)
5.Online Answer Services (sites like ChaCha where you answer peoples questions that they ask via cell phone, you answer on your computer)
    6. Mystery Shopping type jobs (not really work at home, watch out for scams as well, some have paid me to go the movies – good chigh school gig)

I wrote up an eBook about my personal experiences with all these types of jobs. http://www.PracticalOnlineProfits.com

    Hope that helps,

Sites like that aren’t very reliable. You can do only surveys which pay on sites such as http://www.surveyclub.com or you can do something called a matrix which has info here http://www.10kmatrix.com/

Personally, I’ve made money by making a blog. I’m interested in the NFL a lot, so I made a blog in which I posted articles that take no more than 30 minutes a day to write. I put a bunch of ads on the site. The first 2 or 3 weeks were a bit slow because I was getting traffic up, but in this past week, I made $300, and I’m almost 100% sure that that amount will increase every week. Pretty good for a month.

This book had everything I needed on setting the blog up, generating traffic, ad sites, and what not, and it has some other methods of making money online. Definitely worth my money.

Making money online is not something that you can just pick up. There is a substantial learning curve if you try to do it on your own. Joining an existing company with tutorials can make it a lot easier for you to succeed.

There are a lot of Internet Marketers online that will sell you a load of crap all the while promising that this is the one. The program that will make you a millionaire in no time flat. If you do buy into it, chances are very good that your screwed because the vital information that you need to succeed online has been omitted or, now you need to buy this in order to make that (which you just paid an arm and a leg for) work.

I’m not saying that all of them are like that but through my own personal experience 99% of them are.

The problem is too many of these so called "Internet Gurus" rely on the gullibility of their customers and can sell them anything and often do. You see, they figured it out "cracked the code" as they say and now they are living proof that you can make money online just like them.

I want to tell you that you can make money online because anything is possible. Sure, it’s going to take some work and there will be a learning curve but it can be done.

If you want to make money online, I suggest the website below. Good luck in your new online ventures.
