Making Easy Profits Using PPC In Your Affiliate Marketing Business
PPC is one of the four basic types of Search Engines. PPC is also one of the most cost-effective ways of targeted internet advertising. According to Forbes magazine, PPC or Pay Per Click, accounts to 2 billion dollars a year and is expected to increase to around 8 billion dollars by the year 2008.
Let us take a quick look at how PPC Search Engines work.
These engines create listings and rate them based on a bid amount the website owner is willing to pay for each click from that search engine. Advertisers bid against each other to receive higher ranking for a specific keyword or phrase.
The highest bidder for a certain keyword or phrase will then have the site ranked as number 1 in the PPC Search Engines followed by the second and third highest bidder, up to the last number that have placed a bid on the same keyword or phrase. Your ads then will appear prominently on the results pages based on the dollar amount bid you will agree to pay per click.
How do you make money by using PPC into your affiliate marketing business?
Most affiliate programs only pay when a sale is made or a lead delivered after a visitor has clickthrough your site. Your earnings will not always be the same as they will be dependent on the web site content and the traffic market.
The reason why you should incorporate PPC into your affiliate marketing program is that earnings are easier to make than in any other kind of affiliate program not using PPC. This way, you will be making profit based from the clickthroughs that your visitor will make on the advertisers site. Unlike some programs, you are not paid per sale or action.
PPC can be very resourceful of your website. With PPC Search Engines incorporated into your affiliate program, you will be able to profit from the visitors who are not interested in your products or services. The same ones who leave your site and never comes back.
You will not only get commissions not only from those who are just searching the web and finding the products and services that they wanted but you will be able to build your sites recognition as a valuable resource. The visitors who have found what they needed from you site are likely to come back and review what you are offering more closely. Then they will eventually come back to search the web for other products.
This kind of affiliate program is also an easy way for you to generate some more additional revenues. For example, when a visitor on your site does a search in the PPC Search Engine and clicks on the advertiser bided listings, the advertisers account will then be deducted because of that click. With this, you will be compensated 30% to 80% of the advertisers bid amount.
PPC is not only a source of generating easy profits; it can also help you promote your own site. Most of the programs allow the commissions received to be spent for advertising with them instantly and with no minimum earning requirement. This is one of the more effective ways to exchange your raw visitors for targeted surfers who has more tendencies to purchase your products and services.
What will happen if you when you integrate PPC into your affiliate program?
PPC usually have ready-to-use affiliate tools that can be easily integrated into your website. The most common tools are search boxes, banners, text links and some 404-error pages. Most search engines utilize custom solutions and can provide you with a white-label affiliate program. This enables you, using only a few lines of code, to integrate remotely-hosted co-branded search engine into your website.
The key benefits? Not only more money generated but also some extra money on the side. Plus a lifetime commissions once you have referred some webmaster friends to the engine.
Think about it. Where can you get all these benefits while already generating some income for your site? Knowing some of the more useful tools you can use for your affiliate program is not a waste of time. They are rather a means of earning within an earning.
Best know more about how you can use PPC search engines into your affiliate program than miss out on a great opportunity to earn more profits.

How to start up a T-shirt business? I have some ideas and designs that I would like to make and sell?
Does anyone know where I can get information and knowledge on setting it up.
SHould I sell to retailers (ie. RIver Island/ Topshop) or set up on my own?
Is it easy or hard?
Thanks
set up on your own, if you need to get a loan to lease a store space, and start designing your store, then open it. it is hard, try to not spend all your moeny on the design, make sure you have enough to pay the bills and have advertising, otherwise, you won’t make it. talk to a financial advisor about it, they could help you out. oh and get a copy right or patent on your clothing, otherwise you will probably get ripped off by someone, who thinks they can use your design and sell for cheaper.

Get one of these: http://www.mascoprint.co.uk/screenprinting/starter_kit/index.htm
You will also need space – an empty garage or spare room.
You can get more sophisticated equipment if you get successful.
Also, look up suppliers of bulk T shirts for when you take off. It can cost 70-90% less buying bulk. Initially, I’d look for smaller quantities to make samples. There are plenty of suppliers on the internet (even eBay).
Whether the chain stores would take your ideas would depend on the whims of current high fashion, which changes about every six weeks; so you might be better off creating your own exclusive brand (and limited editions?). Youl could sell on eBay, and even do a fashion parade on YouTube (don’t forget to put your web address on it and embed it on your website).
You will also need to register as self employed with HMRC (you can do it on their website)

Hey I’ve been doing this for a while …. funny you should run into the same idea.
Ok … basic steps … at a high level ….
1) There are plenty of websites where you can setup for free and put up your designs and set yourself up as an affiliate. No money down, no cost, just upload the designs. Contact me if you need to get a list of websites. When you upload designs make sure they are not copyrighted but geared towards a group. You can set your own prices, but remember that you have to make it cost effective for your customers.
2) Have your designs stick to a select group / niche. If you need to have multiple niches do multiple logings / affiliates. That way the people you are going to market to only see the sites they are interested in. (for my example i’ll use "community crimewatch" )
3) OK here’s the hard part…. marketing. You have to get your name/brand out and have people hit your website and start buying ….. here are 3 good ways to do that:
a) hand out flyers and tell people in the niche group … people who belong to crime stoppers or neighborhood crime watches. Make it sound appealing, and sit back and let them make the decision. This should net you at least 1 dozen to 2 dozen sales a piece.
b) When the group is going to be having a fund raiser or a local event, you can pre-order some of your own t-shirts from the webiste but don’t spend more than you can afford to lose.
With each sale, make sure you hand out a flyer or card referring to your "niche" website.
Remember you only get a PORTION of the sales, and the t-shirt manufacturer gets the majority. So don’t spend a bundle in case it rains that week or you don’t get a good showing. You can always re-use the shirts and sell them antoher time, but why get in the hole too much.
c) By this time you should have people hitting your website from referrals. Use the concept to get with the group and tell them if they can generate sales you’ll donate $$$ or shirts to their cause. e.g. if they sell 100, you will give 5% of your profit back. If they sell 200 you’ll give 7% of your profit back. (Notice i used the keyword: % of profit … that’s money you’ve earned).
Just remember it is a slow process, and until you start making more then $1000/month … don’t plan on taking any profit for yourself. Plan on putting the profit BACK into the biz.
Good luck. Keep in touch and let me know how it goes.

As another answerer said, there are sites that allow you to upload your designs and sell through their sites.
I use zazzle. I think another is cafePress.
You can see a gallery that I set up on zazzle at the link below.
If you setup as an associate, you can earn as much as 17% on your stuff.
I think it is a good way to get started and at least test-market your designs before investing a lot of money.
If you already have the designs – zazzle is very easy. Plus, I have purchased stuff from them and the quality is top notch.
