ok so im writing an essay and i used information i got from an online website article.
here is what i wrote: It is no wonder why Americans have such bad health. It also comes as no surprise that the cost of health care has risen 5 percent from an income in 1960 to 16 percent today.
It is not a direct quote but my professor say that i need to cite all my references.
so how would cite it?
after the sentence? do i italicize it?

If it is in MLA style:
at the end of that sentence ( author’s last name, pg. number)

If it is in APA style:
at the end of that sentence (Author’s Last name, year).

There’s also so many other ways you can do an in-text citation, depending on how you choose to word the sentence. I would advise you visit the website in my sources, I’ve been using it since, high school, and I’ve never had any problems there. It’s approved by nearly all college level schools, and the information is updated constantly as things change in writing communities. Very easy to read and understand, everything is in subtitles so you can navigate to whatever it is you need help with in any kind of paper. Just type in the search bar what type of format your paper is in and it’ll pull it up for you.

    Hope I was helpful!
